These photos were taken at a local park to be used for some Christmas cards. It was a little windy that day but luckily everything else cooperated. There were some good spots to take the pictures and the fall colors complimented what everyone was wearing. The Daily family have been regular clients for me over the years and they were needing some pictures for Christmas. Even though this was in December there were still quite a few leaves around which provided a great backdrop for the images. Because I've seen the brothers together before it was interesting to see how they interacted now that they were a little older. The older brother tended to make his younger brother smile.Read more →

The location for the senior photoshoot was actually picked out by the senior himself. He wanted to take some pictures next to some of the murals in Deep Ellum. Specifically the ones of Anthony Bourdain and Stevie Ray Vaughn. I didn't even realize that they had those there. We also took one in front of the Dallas skyline.Read more →

This was a collaborative photoshoot with an up-and-coming model. Rachel needed some photos for her portfolio and I was still trying to test out my vintage lens. Every now and then I do a photoshoot with someone that is looking to collaborate. In this instance, it was with a makeup artist. She needed photos to showcase her work and I needed a model to test out some new lenses that I got. One of them was a vintage lens so everything was manual including the focus. I soon learned that is a little tougher than I thought but the images were definitely interesting. In this case, it was the last 3/4 shot with the leaves in the background.Read more →

This sweet family ended up having to do their photos on a very warm June day at East Hill Park but their outfits really popped and coordinated really well with each other. You could tell the brothers and sisters liked each other very much especially their newest addition so that last photo was just them being silly with each other.Read more →

The Andersen family were the lucky recipients of a gift certificate won at the Andretti Indoor Karting in The Colony's 1-year anniversary celebration. We took them a the Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve which is a very large outdoor area. I had not been there before but it offered lots of great spots for pictures. The 2-year-old daughter and their 9-month-old son were so cute together.Read more →
